THE HOUSE AND ROOMS.....

The house has been extensively renovated in recent years and retains a number of original mill workings and bread ovens. You can enjoy your breakfast either in the Mill Room where the original mill wheel is still in place or in the cosy dining room, with its huge inglenook fireplace, overlooking the garden and village. Under a deep new thatched roof, the house is cosy in winter with several open log fires and cool in summer.

The rooms are individually designed and each one has its own en-suite with either a shower or bath, polished oak floors with scattered rugs and vintage or antique furniture. Flat screen TVs/DVDs and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in each room.

The beds have crisp white eqyptian cotton sheets, thick duvets and luxury throws with extra pillows for your comfort. The bathrooms have either a deep, cast-iron slipper bath or large deluge shower with bath sheets, lashings of hot water and complimentary toiletries. The walls are decorated with prints of local views by artist Sally Anderson and they are available to purchase during your stay.
